Youth and Career Services

The Able Trust’s High School High Tech (HSHT) program provides Florida high school students with disabilities the opportunity to explore careers, postsecondary education, and skills development for in-demand jobs.

Celebrating 30 years of impact, HSHT connects students to career exploration, leadership development, and transition services based on the nationally recognized Guideposts for Success. The program supports graduation success and increases participation in education, vocational training, and employment after high school.

The Center for Independent Living supports youth ages 17-24 with disabilities in achieving independence and self-sufficiency by offering employment skills training through paid work-based opportunities, leading to full-time employment.

VR Career Camps prepare for the transition from high school to postsecondary education, training or employment. VR Providers have the flexibility to create a unique, fun Career Camp experience by delivering any combination of the following Pre-ETS in a bundled format, when school is out for at least three consecutive days (e.g., Spring, Summer and Winter breaks).
