Programs & Services
Youth and Employment Programs
CIL Broward’s Youth and Employment Services empower individuals with disabilities—both youth (ages 14–21) and adults—to prepare for and succeed in the workforce. We offer job readiness training, career exploration, resume building, interview skills, and connections to employment opportunities, all designed to support independence and long-term success.
Affordable & Accessible Housing
CILB provides information and resources to individuals seeking permanent affordable and accessible housing. The Housing Program also helps remove physical barriers in consumers’ homes.
Leadership CILB
Leadership CILB is a special leadership opportunity for individuals with disabilities in Broward County. The program develops individuals’ personal and professional abilities while also fostering a networking of disability advocates in the community.
Core Services
The CILB offers five core services: information & referral services, advocacy, independent living skills training, peer support and transition services.
CIL Technology Solutions
CILB helps consumers with disabilities learn about devices that can help them better live independently.
Durable Medical Equipment
At CIL Broward, our Durable Medical Equipment Program provides free, short-term loans of essential items like wheelchairs, walkers, and shower chairs to individuals with disabilities. This service helps bridge the gap during recovery, emergencies, or while waiting for permanent equipment.
